Performs cage changes, including cleaning and sanitizing animal housing enclosures, equipment, and rooms. Maintains records documenting all activities listed above and ensuring completion of said activities. Provides training and guidance to research and animal care staff and students, including: Facilitates training and orientation for all new ACF users. Provides training for animal procedures as needed. Provides re-training to any ACF users as needed. Coordinates receipt and shipment of all incoming animals, including: Confirms adequate space requirements to house incoming animals. Prepares housing and supplies for all incoming animals.
